Albert M. Gutierrez, MD, FAAP received his board certification in General Pediatric in 1992 and Pediatric cardiology in 1996 from the American Board of Pediatrics. He completed his General Pediatrics training at SUNY Stony Brook and fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Dr Gutierrez came to Louisiana in 1995 and made Lafayette his home in 1998. He is married and has three beautiful daughters.

James A. Bishara, MD gained his board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics in 2008 and Pediatric Cardiology in 2012. He received his doctorate in medicine from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He trained in general pediatrics at both Tulane University/Ochsner Clinic Foundation and the University of Maryland in Baltimore. His fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology was at The University of Tennesse in Memphis at LeBonheur Children's Hospital. He joined Dr. Gutierrez in 2012.
Dr. Bishara is married, he and his wife, Dana, have two beautiful girls; Marisol and Cosette.
